Emodrom group CEO Thomas Reister (r.) Explains to the audience, including OB Marcus Zeitler (l.),…
At the invitation of Peter Wesche, the founders and managing partners of the emodrom group visited the members of the Rotary Club Hockenheim in the Rondeau last Monday evening.
In an entertaining presentation, the numerous visitors received an overview of the beginnings of the emodrom at the Hockenheimring since its founding in 2012 until today. For many of those present, there were interesting insights and facts about the transformation of the traditional race track into a modern mobility center. The concept that Reister presented in 2012 to Hockenheimring’s then Lord Mayor Dieter Gummer and Hockenheimring GmbH Managing Director. The municipal council then came unanimously to the decision to found a joint company, the emodrom GmbH, which has since successfully driven the strategic development of the world-famous racetrack with purely private funds of emodrom group GmbH, so that the city no further financial risks and obligations and Hockenheim-Ring GmbH has generated additional business.
“We enjoyed the presentation very much and are pleased to hear the economic perspective first-hand. Their plans are impressive, bear witness to entrepreneurial flair and give the Hockenheimring a long-term perspective again. “Peter Wesche / Club master Rotary Club Hockenheim
“As also expressed on Monday, we were very happy about your detailed and informative talk about the history of emodrom GmbH and the Hockenheimring. We received exciting and entertaining comments on the further development and were very openly informed about future planned projects. Thank you very much. “Christian Hildenbrand / President Rotary Club 2019/20 Hockenheim
“I was very pleased about the invitation of Mr. Wesche and that today, due to several scheduling conflicts with me, it now worked out to present our joint project with Hockenheim-Ring GmbH and the city,” said Thomas Reister after the event.
