Mayor Marcus Zeitler and emodrom boss Thomas Reister visited in the state parliament Baden-Wuerttemberg the CDU deputies Karl Klein and the minister of justice and tourism Guido Wolf. They presented the strategy concept of the emodrom at the Hockenheimring.
The invitation was made by Karl Klein, who attended the emodrom in April this year with Deputy Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg and acting Interior Minister Thomas Strobl. Mayor and emodrom Managing Director campaigned for the location and the concept for transforming a classic racetrack into a mobility center. Following the successful handover of the first large-scale project to Porsche as a renter last weekend, Thomas Reister’s team is working on convincing other top companies with innovative mobility services from the Hockenheimring location and the newly created opportunities.
“With an attractive offer we also create interesting opportunities for tourism here in the
Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar, “said Thomas Reister on the sidelines of the appointment in Stuttgart. Mayor Zeitler thanked on behalf of the city of Hockenheim and the local council also at Karl Klein for coordinating this event. “An important and correct step forward, because together we can achieve more,” says Marcus Zeitler. Now it is important to build on this meeting and to start the discussed further steps.
