Innovation and stability:
Our measures pursue a long-term, innovative and economically viable strategy. They serve the additional optimization of existing Hockenheim-Ring GmbH business fields by creating synergies, integrating existing resources and increasing utilization efficiency.

The emodrom group is pursuing the goal of realigning the Hockenheimring and establishing it as the mobility showcase in Germany in the long term.
Modern and scalable infrastructure and facility concepts with up-to-date rental and operating concepts are in planning and partly already under construction. As a matter of principle, only measures are implemented that are sustainably financed in advance by suitable partners, tenants, tenants and possible subsidies.
In the spring of 2018, the emodrom group was able to win the first anchor tenant for the Hockenheimring concept “mobility showcase”. Thomas Reister, who developed the “Mobility Showcase Hockenheimring” concept, and his team succeeded in bringing the successful sports car manufacturer Porsche to Hockenheim with a Porsche Experience Center. An international business model that has already been successfully established in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Silverstone, Le Mans and Leipzig. On 130,000 square meters, the emodrom group is building the building, as well as the associated handling and off-road parking.
In order to drive the further realignment of the Hockenheimring ahead, use is made of an intelligent mix of automotive tradition, current motorsport and forward-looking mobility concepts. The emodrom group offers a unique and exclusive environment for its partners, participants and visitors.

We offer manufacturers, suppliers, trade, associations, engineering and service providers and universities across industries a unique crosslinking B2C / B2B site concept and an international presence for innovative mobility concepts and technologies. We already are in the 2-year average more than 500,000 visitors of all educational, age and income groups that benefit our partners.
Synergies, multiple use of individual buildings, infrastructure, testing and laboratory equipment, etc. guarantee at locations that allow and do not restrict the individual participants in their individual requirements, significant cost optimizations.

I am pleased that with Porsche we have been able to win over my preferred candidate as a long-term tenant for the realignment at the Hockenheimring. The manufacturer’s decision to build the German PEC here with us at the site in the immediate vicinity of the corporate headquarters shows the high potential of our concept and is a strong signal for further companies and universities to get involved in the mobile mobility showcase. We as the emodrom group are investing a sum in the double-digit millions from purely private means, which in the medium to long term will benefit the city, the metropolitan region and Baden-Württemberg in Germany as a motor pool.
